Since you’re asking what I mean by that, I’ll tell you. People tend to confuse lust with love. I know the difference between the two and within Islam we it’s not encouraged to speak to opposite gender unless it’s really necessary. So tell me how could you fall in love with someone you’ve only exchanged a couple of words with? How could you fall in love with someone you don’t know? It’s different for me because how could I do those things I’ve just asked. I make duaa all the time that I don’t confuse lust with love and that, that’s not the only thing running through my mind all the time. I can control my desires Alhamdulilah, to me it’s a matter of putting my trust in Allah SWT and making him my appointed Wali, He sees EVERYTHING, inside and out. Why waste my time running after what I barely have any knowledge of. I wrote a whole piece on my opinion on this, it’s called “True Love” you should read it that way I don’t have to explain all over again, I think you’ll understand way better when you read that.
