Some things Muslim women should not do:
- they should not shy away from speaking about their religious identity and why they choose to be Muslim; whether it is a male or female; non Muslim or Muslim.
- they should not shy away from questioning those who insult them or ridicule them either behind their backs or in front of their face; let them be bold and question the mockery and ignorance.
- they should not accept any indecent attitudes or behaviors from anyone. Every human being must treat the Muslim women with full respect and not dehumanize or degrade them in anyway; especially in their rights/
- they should not fret.
- they should not allow anyone to speak for them in regards to their struggles or lifestyle. They should not entirely allow anyone to speak on their behalf about their struggles or their personal issues in regards to anything they deal with.
Some things Muslim women should stay away from:
- people who will abuse them emotionally and physically. If you believe that there is a guy who will ask for your hand, but hasn’t even gotten close to contacting your parents in any form, then he is not a man you need. Dont let guys like that abuse you and use you emotionally.
- stay away from false friendships. If you do not surround yourself around sincere friends who will teach you, encourage you, and provide for you knowledge (whether it is Islamic or secular) because they love you, then it is not a friendship worth keeping.
- stay away from Shaytan because he comes in all forms, in many shapes, and in too many sizes. Always remember Allah in everything that you do because when you begin to remember Allah, Allah will remember you. And what is more beautiful than having your Lord remember you, subhanAllah?
